San Diego Hebrew Day School is seeking a warm, skilled Elementary Hebrew Teacher & Israel Education Associate to join our Orthodox Jewish day school community.

In this full-time role, you will teach Hebrew to 2nd–4th graders, assist the Middle School Hebrew teacher for two periods per day, and support Israel Education programming, fostering a joyful, structured classroom where students build fluency and connection to Hebrew and Israel.

Full-Time Position

San Diego Hebrew Day School is seeking a warm, skilled, and mission-aligned Elementary Hebrew Teacher & Israel Education Associate to join our faculty.

The ideal candidate will bring a love of Hebrew language, a strong connection to Israel, and the ability to create an engaging, structured, and joyful classroom environment. This role is a full-time position that combines lead teaching responsibilities in the elementary school, assistant teaching responsibilities in the middle school, and support for Israel Education special programming.

Position Overview

The Elementary Hebrew Teacher & Israel Education Associate will be responsible for teaching Hebrew language to students in 2nd-4th grade. In addition, the teacher will assist the Middle School Hebrew teacher for two periods per day and help support Israel Education special programming throughout the school year.
