Qualifications

• Two years of college study with 48 credits or 72 credits, an Associate’s degree, or Praxis passing score.
• Ability to perform essential health support under the supervision of a licensed district nurse.
• Adherence to OSHA, infection control, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid and routine health support under the school nurse guidance.
• Assist students with daily medical needs and medication administration per policy.
• Monitor students with chronic conditions and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain health records, medication logs and incident documentation.
• Seek patient confidentiality and uphold privacy policies.
