Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Head Custodian, Elementary, in Grand Forks, ND. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, 6:00am–2:30pm, with a 12-month term and responsibilities across campus facilities.

The position requires high school diploma or GED, supervisory and training skills, and the ability to manage cleaning operations, safety, and staff performance to maintain a sanitary and functional school environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory and training skills required.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures including housekeeping, floor care, minor repairs.
• Strong human relations skills and ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and document activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with district personnel to implement and maintain services.
• Inspects custodial work to ensure site safety and cleanliness.
• Oversees maintenance programs and equipment upkeep.
• Manages workload of department to maximize efficiency.
• Trains custodians in cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
