Qualifications

• Assist in planning and designing activities for elementary students in the ESS program.
• Provide a safe, caring, positive learning environment and take attendance.
• Supervise students in indoor and outdoor activities including games and crafts.
• Assist with health and safety practices and reporting hazards.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development as it pertains to the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing daily program activities and materials; maintain a safe, orderly environment.
• Lead and supervise students in indoor/outdoor activities.
• Escort students between activities on campus as assigned.
• Assist students with homework and snacks.
• Administer first aid and follow emergency procedures; report safety concerns.
• Record attendance and assist with monthly calendar and related duties.
