Job summary

Tutor.com in Pomona, CA is seeking High Dosage Tutors for in-person, small-group sessions with K12 students. This daytime position is ideal for retired or former teachers, or anyone with strong mathematics subject matter expertise, willing to work on campus three days a week during the school day.

Responsibilities include tutoring groups, using manipulatives and interactive tools, reviewing assessments to target gaps, delivering standards-aligned content, and providing progress reports to school

Qualifications

• Currently reside and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to be on campus in Pomona, California 3 days a week during school hours.
• Available to tutor up to 10 hours per week during the school day.
• ELA knowledge and teaching background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tutor small groups of students in a school setting.
• Meet with the same group of students, multiple times a week at a scheduled time during the regular school day.
• Engage students using manipulatives and interactive tools.
• Utilize student assessment data to determine gaps in knowledge.
• Deliver provided standards-aligned digital curriculum.
• Provide quality reports to Tutor.com staff, teachers, and school administrators on student achievement.
• Collaborate with Instructional Specialists to advance instructional practices.
