Job Description

Slate Valley Unified Unioin School District is seeking a dynamic elementary education teacher to provide instruction in an alternative learning environment for students in grades K through 6. The position is based at Castleton Elementary School. The elementary teacher works collaboratively with a special education teacher, a school based clinician, and other professionals and support staff to plan, program, and implement instruction in the least restrictive environment for a small group of students who demonstrate need for social emotional and behavioral support. Small class size, collaborative team environment, mentoring and instructional coaching is available for the selected candidate. Salary range is $51,775 - $93,609 annually, based on licensing and experience.
