Fairfield City School District is seeking an Educational Support Assistant (part-time) at West Elementary to assist in reading/math interventions and supervise students in grades K-5. You will support instruction, monitor behavior, and perform classroom tasks under the Principal's direction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Apply for and maintain an Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW) and meet one of the following criteria (1) hold an Associate's degree or higher, (2) have taken forty-eight semester hours of college coursework, (3) take a Paraprofessional exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reading/math intervention and supervision of students in grades K-5.
• Support instruction, monitor behavior, and provide information to school personnel.
• Perform classroom tasks as directed by the Principal or designee.

Education

Educational Aide Permit (ODEW)

Associate's degree or 48 college hours
