Job summary

Magnolia Public Schools in Anaheim, CA is seeking a licensed Special Education Teacher to provide tailored instructional activities and experiences that help students reach their potential.

You will collaborate with the school team, write and monitor IEP goals, coordinate with parents and outside agencies, and support curriculum development and school improvement initiatives. A CA Education Specialist credential is required or expected.

Qualifications

• CA Credential as Education Specialist or eligibility to obtain one.
• Knowledge of IEP goal setting and implementation.
• Experience with special needs students in K-12 settings.
• Strong collaboration with parents, teachers and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in program evaluations and follow-up procedures.
• Write/develop plans for special education and related services.
• Coordinate integration of special education into the total school program.
• Interact with parents, outside agencies, and community to build support.
