Job summary

PCCS Elementary Campus seeks an EC Teacher to provide special education services to students with disabilities under state and federal guidelines. Under general supervision, you will develop and implement IEPs, adapt materials, and design activities to meet each student’s academic, behavioral, and social goals for a 10-month cycle.

A current NC teaching license in Exceptional Children: General Curriculum is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NC Teaching License in Exceptional Children: General Curriculum.
• Develops and implements IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Maintains EC records in compliance with State and Federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and present instruction to meet educational and social goals for students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement IEPs and update them based on diagnostic information.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with parents on educational progress.
