Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking an Elementary Daily Substitute to support students in the absence of the regular teacher. You will implement planned lessons, manage classroom routines, and communicate daily activities to school leaders. This role requires reliability, adaptability, and a commitment to CSUSA's mission.

As part of CSUSA, you will work closely with the principal and educational staff to ensure continuity of instruction and a positive learning environment for students across campuses.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment toward the mission and values of CSUSA.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient with basic computer tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Review daily plans with lead teacher and principal.
• Deliver instruction as outlined by the absent teacher’s plans.
• Document daily activities and provide feedback to administrators.
• Follow school policies and CSUSA procedures.
• Consult with principal before initiating any new lesson or procedure.
