Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking an Elementary Daily Substitute to keep instruction on track when a teacher is absent. You will follow prepared lesson plans, teach assigned lessons, and provide day-end feedback to the principal to ensure continuity of learning.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and strong time-management and communication abilities to support students and staff in an on-site school environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication with staff and students.
• Basic computer skills including Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Reviews lesson plans with the principal or designated teacher.
• Teaches the lessons prepared by the absent teacher.
• Files written daily activity reports and provides feedback as requested.
• Follows district and CSUSA policies and procedures.
• Consults with the principal before starting any non-specified activity.
