Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) seeks an Elementary Daily Substitute to support students in the absence of the regular teacher. You will follow prepared lesson plans, maintain daily routines, and communicate progress to the principal and staff.

Strong classroom management and a commitment to CSUSA values are essential. Ideal candidates will be able to adapt quickly, manage time effectively, and engage with students to minimize instructional disruption.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Completion of District's Substitute Workshop (as required by the district).
• Commitment to company values.
• Such alternatives to the above requirements as CSUSA may find appropriate and acceptable.
• May perform other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Teaches or facilitates lessons according to the absent teacher's plans.
• Reviews daily plans with principal/supervisor and follows schedules.
• Reports the day’s activities in writing and provides feedback as requested.
• Follows all school and CSUSA policies and procedures and delegates accordingly.
• Consults with building principal before initiating any new lesson or procedure.
