Qualifications

• Demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment to CSUSA mission and values.
• Time management, prioritization, and scheduling abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for staff and students.
• Completion of district substitute workshop is preferred or required.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Reviews with the principal and designated teacher the day’s plans and schedule.
• Teaches the lessons prepared by the absent teacher.
• Writes a report of the day’s activities and provides feedback.
• Follows school policies and CSUSA procedures.
• Consults with the principal before initiating any unlisted lesson or procedure.
• Maintain school routines and supervise student behavior as needed.
