Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments and evaluations to identify learning needs and plan interventions.
• Supports students' IEPs and behavior plans.
• Collaborates with administrators and teachers to ascertain individual student abilities and needs.
• Provides counseling and serves as liaison between home and school.
• Maintains accurate records and communicates progress to colleges and employers as required by district procedures.
• Encourages parental involvement and effective home–school communication.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
