Job summary

Osseo Area Schools District 279 in Maple Grove, Minnesota, seeks a Continuous Substitute for Elm Creek Elementary. The role starts August 31, 2026, with a temporary assignment through June 10, 2027, and may move to another site based on needs.

You will deliver instruction across multiple classrooms, using district-approved resources and technology, and engage guardians and staff as needed. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and a Minnesota teaching license (Tier 3/4 preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota teaching license; K-6 Elementary Education license preferred.
• If not licensed, willingness to apply for at least a Tier 2 license.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective classroom instruction for elementary students, ensuring alignment with district standards.
• Maintain appropriate instructional resources and technologies.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and district leaders.
• Follow district policies regarding student conduct and discipline.
• Provide in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning where applicable.

Education

Bachelor’s degree

Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota teaching license. K-6 Elementary Education license preferred.
