Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or equivalent with emphasis in computer technology or related field.
• Some experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license as a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and presenting learning experiences to improve computer literacy.
• Demonstrate and support students in keyboarding, mouse control and software usage.
• Create and modify lesson plans and instructional materials for diverse learners.
• Set up computers and related equipment for classroom instruction; troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain inventory of software, printers and supplies for classroom use.
• Assist staff with standardized tests and maintain related records.
• Communicate with supervisors, teachers, staff, parents and the public as needed.
• Attend training to maintain and enhance job knowledge and skills.
• Supervise students during out-of-class activities and perform routine office tasks.
