Job summary

Fort Stockton ISD's Apache Elementary is seeking a qualified teacher to provide engaging instruction in the core subject area. You will develop lessons that align with the district curriculum and accommodate diverse student needs.

You will assess student progress, collaborate with special education staff on IEPs, and participate in staff development and committees. This is a full-time on-site position based in Apache, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or required training.
• Demonstrated competency in the core subject area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the district curriculum and show evidence of preparation.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials that reflect diverse learning styles.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction based on results.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEP guidelines.
• Work with staff to determine instructional goals and supervise aides/volunteers.
• Plan and supervise extracurricular activities and be a positive role model.
