Job summary

Fulton Schools in Michigan seeks an Elementary Classroom Teacher for a full-time position. The teacher will deliver instruction in a self-contained K–5 classroom, manage daily routines, and collaborate with staff to support student achievement.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree and possess or be able to obtain a Michigan K-8 teaching certificate. Familiarity with content standards and strong classroom management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Michigan teaching certificate with K-8 certification preferred or able to obtain.
• Familiarity with content standards and highly qualified status.

Responsibilities

• Instruction in an elementary self-contained classroom (K–5).
• Manage student behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and engage families as needed.

• Other Schedule B coaching or Extra Curricular positions are available for additional compensation

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution
• Applicants preferred with a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with K-8 Certification
  • Early Childhood Certification
  • Math Preferred
  • Must meet highly qualified status
  • or be able to obtain certification
• Familiarity with Content Standards
• Demonstrate success with classroom management
• Experience in a self contained classroom setting with grade levels Kindergarten (K) through fifth (5th) are preferred.
