Starting Salaries: Step 1BA - $73,699 and Step 1MA - $81,804

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Valid NJDOE Elementary School Teacher in Grades K-6 certification or equivalent NJDOE Instructional certification in the subject area.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods.
4. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
5. Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
6. Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status.
7. Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14‑7 (L.2011, Chapter 70).

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Terms of tenure track positions per collective bargaining agreement.
