Job summary

Palmyra Area School District in Palmyra, PA is seeking an Elementary Classroom Aide/Monitor Aide for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning October 2026. The aide will assist teachers with small groups, supervise students during lunch and recess, and help with clerical tasks.

Applicants should have experience with children and strong organizational and communication skills. Clearances (PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal Record Check, FBI Background Check) are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated or prior experience working with children, and excellent organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with small groups of students and their instruction designed by the teacher.
• Supervise students throughout the school day including lunch and recess coverage.
• Perform clerical tasks and other duties as assigned by building principal.
