Job summary

Glendale Unified School District is seeking a Child Development and Child Care Teacher for an 186‑day school year. Under the Program Supervisor, you will supervise students and deliver a safe, enriching program in line with district contracts and standards.

You will develop developmentally appropriate curricula, conduct assessments, communicate with families, and supervise staff while coordinating with teachers and administrators to support every learner.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate curriculum for elementary/early childhood.
• Ability to conduct formal and informal assessments to guide learning.
• Ability to communicate with families and conduct parent conferences.
• Knowledge of positive discipline methods following district policies.
• Ability to differentiate activities to meet diverse learning needs.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
