Chess Wizards is seeking enthusiastic, reliable instructors for its after-school enrichment program in Richmond, TX. Join a team that brings the magic of chess to elementary students, with a flexible schedule of 1–5 classes per week and sessions typically from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

You will lead engaging, structured lessons, manage a safe classroom, and help students develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills while traveling to local schools as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching chess to elementary students.
• Ability to lead interactive, engaging sessions.
• Comfort supervising a classroom and enforcing safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 students.
• Teach chess fundamentals using a structured curriculum.
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity.
• Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Follow school safety protocols during arrivals, dismissals, and in-class activities.
• Travel to various local school sites for each session.
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to engage students.
