Job summary

Marley Park Elementary - Surprise, AZ is seeking a 26/27 SY Elemiddle Cheer Coach (MPES) to lead and support student athletic programs. The role involves coaching student athletes, organizing the sports program, and maintaining positive relations with students, staff, families and vendors.

Qualifications include Arizona teacher or coaching certification (or NFHS Level 1), prior coaching experience, and required safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teacher certification, or Arizona coaching certification, or NFHS Level 1 Certification.
• Previous coaching experience in the assigned sport.
• Obtain and maintain an AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC).
• Obtain and maintain First Aid/CPR certification and NFHS concussion course.

Responsibilities

• Coach student athletes in area of assigned responsibility.
• Organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Establish and maintain rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.
• Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
• Other job related duties as assigned.
