Job summary

Dysart Unified School District in Surprise, AZ seeks a 26/27 SY Elemiddle Cheer Coach (ARMS) to lead student athletes and manage the cheer program. This part-time, non-benefited role reports to the Assistant Principal of Athletics and starts immediately.

Ideal candidates hold valid AZ teacher or NFHS coaching certification, have prior coaching experience, and commit to ethical standards and confidentiality while engaging with students and the community.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teaching certification, or Arizona coaching certification, or NFHS Level 1 Certification.
• Prior coaching experience in the assigned sport.
• First Aid/CPR certification and NFHS Concussion in Sports completion.

Responsibilities

• Coach student athletes in area of assigned responsibility.
• Organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Establish and maintain rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.
• Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
• Other job related duties as assigned.
