Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate for subject/level assigned.
• Completion of Texas Reading Academy required for Elementary.
• ESL Supplemental Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to TEA guidelines.
• Present subject matter according to state policies and campus requirements.
• Use data to plan instruction and accommodate individual needs (gifted, bilingual/ESL, 504, etc.).
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula as needed per IEPs.
• Work with staff to plan instructional goals and supervise aides/volunteers.
• Incorporate appropriate technology to enhance teaching and learning.
