Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate for subject/level assigned.
• Completion of Texas Reading Academy required for Elementary.
• ESL Supplemental Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned.
• Present the subject matter according to TEA guidelines and policies.
• Plan and implement instructional strategies reflecting individual needs (gifted, bilingual/ESL, 504).
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula as needed (IEP).
• Coordinate with staff to plan objectives and classroom goals.
• Supervise teacher aides/volunteers and manage classroom assignments.
• Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning.
