Job summary

Saint Cloud School District 742 is seeking a Behavior Resource Specialist to support instructional staff and provide extended practice for students with behavioral needs. Under supervision of the building supervisor, you will reinforce instructions, provide guided practice, and support data collection and implementation of behavior plans aligned with IEP goals.

• Degree or related education as specified in the posting.
• Experience with students who have challenging emotional/behavioral needs and at‑risk students.

Responsibilities

• Responds to the behavior resource room and provides positive behavioral/emotional interventions.
• Develops and implements goals and activities for identified students.
• Re-teaches social skills and provides behavior therapy as required.
• Assists with parent communication and education regarding the behavior support program.
• Collaborates with district staff to implement a robust behavior support program.
• Works with instructional staff to improve academic outcomes for students with challenging behaviors.
• Conducts classroom observations and collects data to support interventions.
• Serves as a member of the site MTSS team.
• Supports in classrooms as requested and collects behavioral data.
• Other duties as assigned.
