Job summary

Main Street School is seeking a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) or a special educator with significant behavioral experience to join our team. The BCBA will provide daily 1:1 services and create programming to support a student with behavioral and communication needs.

The role includes developing behavioral plans, collaborating with teachers, and working with families to ensure positive educational outcomes. The IDEA grant will fund this position and support immediate start.

Qualifications

Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) certification or special education certification is required.
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
Experience in an educational setting preferred; proven track record with behavior plans.

Responsibilities

Develop individualized positive behavior intervention plan (BIP).
Provide ongoing support and training for teachers and staff on behavior management techniques.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the BIP and adjust as needed based on data.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design comprehensive support plans.
Assist in crisis intervention and proactive behavioral strategies.
Communicate with families to support behavior development at home.
