Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) seeks a Special Education Teacher-Autism (Elementary) to join our team in a vibrant school setting.

Colorado State Special Services Provider OR State Teacher's License is required, along with a Master’s in Special Education and experience with K-12 students. • Experience working with K-12 children

Responsibilities

• Create and execute IEPs for each student.
• Communicate with staff and family about student progress.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit for administrator approval.
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled.
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to support progress.
• Invite family members to participate in educational progress.
• Create and distribute progress reports quarterly.
• Coordinate with on-site therapist on behavioral issues.
• Create a safe, productive classroom environment
