Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire a Special Education Teacher-Autism (Elementary) to join our staff and work in an amazing school. If you’re passionate about helping all students reach their potential, we want to hear from you!

The position requires Colorado state licensure or equivalent, a master’s in special education, and experience with K-12 students. We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and a supportive mentorship program.

Qualifications

• Colorado State Special Services Provider OR State Teacher's License required.
• Master's Degree in Special Education.
• Experience working with K-12 children.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute IEPs for each student.
• Communicate progress with staff and families.
• Prepare lesson plans and submit them for approval.
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled.
• Use reinforcement techniques to guide students.
• Invite family involvement in progress.
• Create and distribute progress reports quarterly.
• Coordinate with on-site therapist regarding behavior issues.
• Maintain a safe, productive classroom.
