Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Teacher at Woodhaven Upper Elementary (Finance) to support early education activities and daily classroom routines in a dynamic setting.

You will implement our curriculum, create a safe space for learning, and collaborate with families and center staff to promote student growth and engagement. Training and growth opportunities are provided, with a focus on quality care for children and families.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to assume postures to maintain close contact with children and ensure safety.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Implement KinderCare curriculum aligned to each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support the child's education and well-being.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state authorities, and partners.
