Job summary

Muskegon Public Schools is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher – ASD to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The role falls under a full-time district position reporting to the Building Principal, within the 26/27 academic year framework.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate or enrollment in a state-approved program leading to certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE; OR Bachelor’s Degree and enrollment in a state approved program leading to teacher certification as required by MDE.
• Preferred: Previous classroom teaching experience in a comparable district.
