Job summary

Weber School District seeks a part-time Elementary Aide at Silver Ridge Elementary in Farr West, UT. The role supports teachers, supervises lunch and recess, and assists with instructional materials for a 180-day calendar. 3.0 hours per day, 15 hours per week; non-exempt, emergency hire possible.

Qualifications

• Assists in the preparation of instructional materials.
• Assists in instruction and classroom activities.
• May tutor students individually or in small groups.
• Maintain confidential information about students.
• Demonstrates ability to problem-solve student needs and behaviors.
• Effectively communicate with students, teachers, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lunch/recess and assist with playground safety.
• Assist in classroom activities and with tests and progress tracking.
• Support teachers with interventions and IEP/BIP implementation.
• Maintain attendance and timeliness as essential functions.
• Assist with safety and security of students in classroom and on buses.
