Qualifications

• Minimum of two years ABA experience in a public school or private special education setting.
• RBT Certification or equivalent training completed within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide a highly structured approach based on behavioral principles.
• Run programs with predefined skills in academic, communication, motor, social, and daily living areas.
• Collect data and graph progress daily.
• Help students generalize learned skills into general education settings.
• Implement play plans and facilitate social interactions during recess, lunch, and activities.
• Prepare and organize materials for educational programs and reinforcement systems.
• Work with students exhibiting challenging behaviors and apply specific behavior protocols.
• Maintain crisis prevention certification and assist with restraints as needed.
• Coordinate with special and general educators; attend meetings and trainings.
• Complete daily home communication log and perform other duties as assigned.
