Process Technology in Mentor, OH is seeking an Element Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain production machinery in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. You will support quality and safety standards while documenting production data and collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams.

The role requires attention to detail, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with tube cutting, hand and power tools, measuring tools, basic math/counting, multimeters/hipot testing, and welding is a plus but not required.
• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper verification for production runs.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to company guidelines and safety protocols.
• Monitor machine operations and observe product quality, making adjustments as needed to ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Document production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and any issues encountered.
• Collaborate with other team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to resolve problems and improve processes.
• Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production and facility operations.
