The Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin is hiring a skilled server to join our Food & Beverage team. You will provide prompt, courteous service, present menus, take orders, and ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong customer/guest service skills.
• At least one year of serving experience.
• Able to understand the predominant language of our guests.
• Knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate the POS.
• Able to stand for long periods and maintain a positive attitude in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Accurately take and enter orders.
• Provide attentive table service and anticipate guest needs.
• Present checks, process payments, and thank guests.
• Resolve guest inquiries or concerns courteously and promptly.
• Inform management of any issues and maintain a harmonious work environment.
• Maintain presentation, sanitation, and organization of the work area.
• Set tables according to standards during and after service.
• Stay updated on current menu, features, and 86’ed items.
• Assist with opening/closing checklists and end-of-day reports.
• Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
