Qualifications

• Ability to read and write, perform basic mathematical computations and memorize the food and beverages offered.
• Must obtain and maintain a current Williamsburg James City County food handler’s card and TIPS certification; present during interview if active.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests hospitably and serve them efficiently providing proper food and beverage service.
• Learn and describe menu items to guests including chef specials.
• Suggest wine and other beverages.
• Responsible for standard table set-up procedures and cleanliness of the dining room.
• Other duties as required.
