Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a part-time Banquet Server at the Miami Beach Convention Center. You will provide food and beverage services for catered events, from casual buffets to plated meals, ensuring a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities include event setup, service execution, and breakdown under supervision. Prior banquet/catering experience and alcohol-service certification are preferred, with our benefits package and flexible shifts noted.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Must maintain a valid alcohol-service certification (TIPS/TEAM) or equivalent.
• A food handler certification may also be required based on state or local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and work areas during events.
• Clear tables, reset place settings, and assist with presentation standards.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
