Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and inspect blast and coating equipment.
• Select methods to remove old finishes.
• Prepare surfaces for coating and ensure adhesion.
• Mask surfaces prior to painting.
• Coat products to specifications.
• Hang and unhang parts before/after painting.
• Follow safety procedures for toxins and disposal.
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment.
• Assist with painting projects as needed.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
