Maxterial is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist - Electroplating to join our Detroit-based team. You will oversee electroplating processes, ensure quality, and help optimize production in a fast-paced startup environment backed by notable investors.

The role offers hands-on lab work, shop floor responsibility, and collaboration with VPs and executives. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in electroplating, is comfortable handling hazardous chemicals, and thrives in a team that values

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on electroplating manufacturing experience.
• Ability to travel at least 10% and handle hazardous chemicals safely.
• High school diploma or equivalent; strong math and basic computer skills.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on electroplating tasks and operate lab tools.
• Maintain line/shop, assist in process optimization and modifications.
• Record test data, maintain documentation, protect IP.
• Collaborate with peers and leaders; participate in interviews.
• Support training and learn additional skill sets.
