Job summary

Abrasive Technology in Lewis Center, OH, is seeking an Aerospace Electroplating Trainee for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00pm–11:30pm) and 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 11:00pm–7:30am). Earn $19.00/hr plus a $3 shift differential, with generous PTO and quarterly bonuses.

Overtime is available but not mandatory, and training is provided for this metal-finishing role. You’ll prepare parts, operate plating equipment, follow procedures for quality checks, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

  • No electroplating experience required; training provided.
  • Experience in manufacturing or metal finishing is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Prepare parts for electroplating by cleaning surfaces and inspecting.
  • Operate and monitor electroplating equipment and chemical baths.
  • Follow documented procedures for plating operations and quality checks.
