Job summary

Providence Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle seeks a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to assist the physician in invasive testing and precise diagnostic mapping of patient-specific lesions in the Electrophysiology Lab. You will provide specialized technical support and collaborate with Clinical Engineering to maximize equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• Graduate/complete invasive cardiology program or IBHRE credential.
• Radiologic technology program if qualifying as Radiologic Technologist.
• Certification per hire (CCCI or ARRT) and AHA BLS/ACLS.
• 1 year invasive cardiology lab experience or related Electrophysiology training.
• 2 years cath lab/IR experience for Radiologic Technologist path.

Description

Assists the physician in the invasive testing and/or treatment of patients in the Electrophysiology Lab. Responsible for providing specialized technical support and assistance to the physician in the precise diagnostic mapping of patient-specific lesions, related testing and treatment of adult and pediatric patients. This position troubleshoots equipment problems and works closely with Clinical Engineering staff to maximize the functionality of the equipment and minimize downtime.

Required Qualifications

• If qualifying as Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be a graduate of a two-year invasive cardiology program or IBHRE endorsed certificate or degree program (at least twelve month duration) or equivalent
• Coursework/Training: If qualifying as a Radiologic Technologist must be a graduate of a Radiologic Technology program
• Upon hire: Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification --or--
• Washington Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International --or--
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year of experience if qualifying as Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - recent Invasive Cardiology Laboratory experience or graduate of certificate or degree program in Electrophysiology
• 2 years of experience if qualifying as a Radiologic Technologist must have cath lab/IR experience

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
