Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to assist physicians in invasive testing and precise diagnostic mapping of patient-specific lesions in the Electrophysiology Lab.

The role requires relevant certifications at hire, cath lab/IR or electrophysiology experience, and ongoing collaboration with Clinical Engineering to maximize equipment uptime and patient safety across adult and pediatric cases.

Qualifications

• Two-year invasive cardiology program or IBHRE certificate required.
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program required if qualifying as Radiologic Technologist.

• 1 year experience - invasive cardiology lab experience or graduate of certificate/degree in Electrophysiology.
• 2 years experience - cath lab/IR experience for Radiologic Technologist.

Description

Assists the physician in the invasive testing and/or treatment of patients in the Electrophysiology Lab. Responsible for providing specialized technical support and assistance to the physician in the precise diagnostic mapping of patient-specific lesions, related testing and treatment of adult and pediatric patients. This position troubleshoots equipment problems and works closely with Clinical Engineering staff to maximize the functionality of the equipment and minimize downtime.

Required Qualifications:

• If qualifying as Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be a graduate of a two-year invasive cardiology program or IBHRE endorsed certificate or degree program (at least twelve month duration) or equivalent.
• Coursework/Training: If qualifying as a Radiologic Technologist must be a graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.
• Upon hire: Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification, or
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
