Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a compassionate Electrophysiology Technician to join the EP Lab team. You will assist physicians during invasive EP procedures, help position patients, maintain sterile technique and ensure equipment is ready.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in biology, anatomy or physiology, RCIS or RCES preferred, and two years of EP experience plus ACLS and BLS. Join a facility with a strong Heart Institute and patient-first culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology or related field.
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist) preferred.
• Two (2) years of Electrophysiology experience.
• ACLS and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble supplies and equipment for EP procedures.
• Assist in soothing and positioning patients during procedures.
• Maintain sterile techniques throughout EP procedures.
• Monitor patient and assist physician during EP procedures.
• Gather equipment for cleaning and sterilization after procedures.
• May transport patients to recovery.
