Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Irvine, CA invites an Electrophysiology Supply Chain Intern for May–August 2027. This hybrid role (2–3 days in person) offers hands-on experience in new product development, lifecycle management, and tech ops within a cardiovascular context.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate freshman year completed and pursuing a bachelor’s or fifth year master’s in engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or higher across coursework.
• Statistical knowledge and ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; leadership experience preferred.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship; CPT/OPT considerations noted.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers with lab testing, data collection, and tooling inspection.
• Support supply chain optimization for new and existing products.
• Attend multi-functional team meetings and record minutes.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to determine root causes and mitigations.
• Evaluate processes for quality, productivity, and cost improvements.
• Follow defined practices to select problem-solving methods.
• Ensure deliverables comply with standards, regulations, and procedures.
