Job summary

Soliant is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with EP lab expertise to join a dedicated team in Norfolk, VA. The RN will provide specialized care to patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced lab environment.

Requirements include nursing degree, active RN license, and at least 2 years in EP or cardiac settings, plus BLS/ACLS. This contract role offers 40-hour weeks, weekly pay, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with current standing.
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent EP Lab or cardiac specialty experience.
• Knowledge of EP procedures including ablations, device placement, and cardiac mapping.
• Ability to monitor patients, administer medications, and assist physicians during complex interventions.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for patients before, during, and after EP lab procedures
• Administer medications, moderate sedation, and IV therapy under protocol
• Facilitate patient flow through pre-op, intraprocedure, and recovery phases
• Support physicians and technologists with equipment setup, procedural needs, and emergency interventions
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EMR
• Advocate for patient safety and collaborate with allied health professionals to achieve optimal outcomes
