Job summary

Novant Health is seeking an Electrophysiology (EP) RN Lead for the Cardiology Clinic in Winston-Salem, NC. This role guides our specialized EP team and enhances patient care in a sophisticated cardiac unit.

You will lead procedures, mentor staff, ensure protocol compliance, and drive quality improvements while coordinating device knowledge across vendors. A strong EP background and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Proven EP nursing or cardiac specialty care experience.
• Minimum of three years EP expertise with vendor programmers.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• BLS and ACLS certification; EP or cardiac nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate complex electrophysiology procedures with precision.
• Mentor and support nursing staff to foster continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient safety.
• Maintain knowledge of all Novant approved implantable devices (single/dual/multi-lead pacemakers).
• Operate, interrogate, program, and re-program implantable devices per protocols.
