Job summary

Advocate Health in Macon, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time role in the Electrophysiology department. Schedule is 7a–7p, 36 hours per week, with days varying and on-call coverage for weekends/holidays.

The RN will assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with families and the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Active RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on specialty.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
