Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Arlington Heights, IL. The EP RN focuses on patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology procedures in a specialized EP lab.

Responsibilities include preprocedure assessment, direct patient care during procedures, rhythm monitoring, sedation administration, and documentation compliance.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• ACLS may be required by client contract.
• Minimum of 2 years EP or cath lab experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate as required by contract or regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide preprocedure assessment and care coordination.
• Deliver direct patient care during EP procedures.
• Monitor hemodynamic and cardiac rhythms during procedures.
• Administer medications including sedation and document procedures.

Location: Arlington Heights, IL

The EP (Electrophysiology) RN specializes in working withpatients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiologyprocedures such as EP studies, ablations, pacemaker/ICD implantations, and morein a specialized EP lab. The EP(Electrophysiology) RN role involves preprocedure assessment, direct patientcare during procedures, monitoring of hemodynamic and cardiac rhythms,administration of medications including sedation, and documentationcompliance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with a current license in the state theyare working
• ACLS may be required by client contract
• Minimum of 2 years EP or cath lab blended experience highlypreferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current BLS
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
