TriHealth's advanced Electrophysiology team seeks an EP Radiology Technologist to support invasive cardiac procedures. You will operate imaging equipment, scrub and circulate on the EP lab team, and contribute to patient safety from prep to recovery.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in allied health required.
• Recent graduates of accredited Radiologic Technology programs encouraged to apply; onboarding provided.
• EKG competency within 6 months of hire date.
• ARRT or CVT/CVIT or CEPS certification required.
• BLS on hire; ACLS preferred.
• State of Ohio radiologic technologist certification required.
• Understanding of aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and respond to complications.
• Document procedures accurately in medical records and capture charges.
• Maintain sterile field and assist physicians with imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures.
• Participate in unit quality assurance and daily equipment checks.

Location: Good Samaritan Hospital at 375 Dixmyth Avenue, Cincinnati, OH

Work hours:

• Full time, 80 hours biweekly
• Day Shift
• No on call commitment

Sign-On Bonus (Qualified external candidates only)

• 2+ years of EP / Cath Lab experience: $35,000 with a two‑year work commitment.
• Less than 2 years or no previous EP / Cath Lab / Radiology Tech experience: $17,500 with a one‑year work commitment.
• Previous team members returning within 1 year are not eligible.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Associate's degree in allied health (Required)
• New Radiology Tech Graduates Welcome: Recent graduates of accredited Radiologic Technology programs who meet the required licensure and certification requirements are encouraged to apply. Job Overview:

The EP Radiology Technologist will work under the guidance of the director and the cardiologist to perform a range of invasive cardiac procedures. They are responsible for implementing patient safety protocols and supporting physicians during Electrophysiology lab procedures. This includes operating imaging equipment, administering necessary medications within their scope of practice, and closely monitoring patients throughout the procedure. Additionally, the technologist must safely operate x‑ray equipment in accordance with their radiologic training and scope of practice. They will also participate in performance improvement activities, educational initiatives, and national registries. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Must possess strong independent assessment, judgement, and decision‑making skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate proficiency in the ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of patients and families
  • a. Monitors patients during procedures to assess their vital signs and respond to complications or changes in condition.
  • b. Documents all procedures accurately and thoroughly in the patient's medical records, including accurately capturing procedural charges.
  • c. Provides for patient, family, and staff comfort and care prior to, during, and after a procedure. Recognizes and responds appropriately to emergent situations.
• Clinical/Technical Quality: Able to proficiently perform diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through completion of competency-based education.
